You may not know the name Natalie Imani but have perhaps heard her voice as she has supported artists such as John Legend (on his Grammy winning album "Bigger Love" in 2020), Lauryn Hill, Jazmine Sullivan, The Roots and Nicki Minaj amongst others.
Her debut EP "Hide Your Heart" in 2019 was written by Pink Sweat$ (aka David Bowden). To date she's released seven singles and two EPs since 2018.
Her latest single is yet another Valentine's Day release "Sweet Dreams" which uses Aretha's "Daydreaming" towards the end starting around 2:20.
Her back catalogue is a bit of a mixed bag but "Butterflies" (14 Feb 2020) is worth checking out.
