I first became aware of Samuel Archer via his remix of
Raja-Nee's hit "Come Get This Love" in July this year, but he has been around since 1989. He is originally
from Tobago and now resides in Newark.
He released an album "Soul Music Vineyard" on 1 Oct 2021 (available exclusively from
BandCamp
only) which contains 27 tracks and includes artists such as Raja-Nee, Nadira Norjahan, Terrence Russell, Afi Soul, Camile
Lawrence, Michelle Thompson, Lasro The King, Kia Renee, Jamia, Lex, The
Great T.K.
My choice cuts from first listen to the album are "Like I Love You" featuring Lasro The King, "Unbothered" featuring Kia Renee and "I Want To Know" featuring Raja-Ne.
He was interviewed only last week so I've included it below, however, it's
a telephone interview and the sound on his side is not brilliant so you'll
need to turn up the volume.
