Out today is a collaborative single between Londoners Kadeem Tyrell and James Vickery titled "Since You've Been Gone".  

It's almost two years since Tyrell's brilliant collaborative single "All My Love" with Omar which topped some UK soul charts and the latest single could do as well.  It's a contemporary soul ballad, yet with a retro/old school feel about it.

Kadeem Tyrell [2022] - As Time Goes By [Self Released] (Full Album)

Kadeem Tyrell from Battersea, London, is currently riding high at #2 on the latest Global Soul chart with "I Want You". 

He releases his debut album "As Time Goes By" today (16 Jun 2022). It includes his last five singles "I Want You", "Rider", "All My Love" with Omar, and "Simple Man" along with "How It Feels" from 2020. 

The new single will be "Let Me Know (The Cypher)" also released today.

He collaborates with current hot property Morgan Munroe on "Do Your Thing". I'm afraid to say, for me, he suffers living up to the the quality of "All My Love" which is very hard to top, but one of the other choice cuts from the new material would be "Forever And Always".

Kadeem Tyrell [2022] - I Want You [Self Released]

The latest single from Londoner Kadeem Tyrell is the self-penned "I Want You" released today (18 May 2022). I think this is the best he's done since his Global Soul Chart #1 with Omar "All My Love" almost a year ago (Jun 2021) but it's still not in the same league as that recording but much better 'soulwise' than his last very R&B flava'd  "Rider" from Feb.

I've just noticed that when "All My Love" was released last June there was no video for it but one was uploaded in Nov 2021 so I've included it below (as there isn't one yet for the new single) to remind you of just how good it is (A SoulStrutter Top 10 tune for 2021).

Kadeem Tyrell Feat. Omar [2021] - All My Love [Open Your Mind]

Released yesterday (18 Jun 2021) is a great new single from Kadeem Tyrell from Battersea, London, featuring Omar. Easily the best single I've heard so far this week. This should do well.

Kadeem debuted back in 2016 with a five track EP with RYN called "Fooled" and has gone on to release more than a dozen singles/EPs, this is is fifth single already this year

Omar (Lye-Fook) debuted in 1985 but had to wait until 1990 before he hit with "There's Nothing Like This".
