The second release from Expansion Records today is the highly anticipated
album, "Dreams", from Manchester's Victor Haynes after two very well received recent singles
"Let The Lovin' Start" (8 Mar) and "Like The Old Days" (26 Apr). As an added bonus they have also released a remix of "Like The Old Days" as a single (i.e. not on the album).
It's a solid set kicking off with the title track, "Dreams", and "We've Got Love" setting the scene followed by the two singles and continuing with
another 'hot stepper', "Got My Mind Made Up".
The pace slows down for a ballad "A World Without You" and then picks up again with "Moving On", "Gonna Be Right There" and "You're My Girl" which is bit more mid pace. The album closes with a ballad "Blowing My Mind".
All songs are written by Victor with long time partner Peter May. It's his
seventh album for Expansion Records in a relationship now in it's 30th year,
(his first for the label being "Optimistic" in 1994) and follows "Love Is The Answer" in Dec '22.
