We picked up on the new Avery*Sunshine single "My Way" when released on Friday but it didn't really register on first listen,
however, we've persevered and perhaps, like us, you may need a few listens
to fully appreciate.
The song is co-written with Dana "BigDane" Johnson, Jamison Ross,
DrewTheRew (her daughter), Cory Irvin Sr. and John Michael Rouchell and produced by
Jamison Ross with four of the writers performing, Cory Irvin (keys),
Jamison Ross (drums), Dana "BigDane" Johnson (guitar) and Brian
Cockerham (bass).
It's now the fourth single this year from her forthcoming album, "So Glad To Know". The others were "Fire" (29 Mar), "I Wonder" (12 Feb) and the funky "Lifted Up" (1 Jan).
