Rising singer/songwriter Courtney Courtney from South
East London released her first single, a broken beats track titled "Mum's Car", in Jul '23. She followed it with "Overthinking" in Sep '23.
She has now released her debut six track EP "All Court Up" which includes her only other single "Ready For Ya" (Jan '24), which is another broken beats type song. The pick of the
pack for us is the opening song "Don't Need Diamonds".
Whilst her first single didn't materialise until just under a year
ago, she has been performing live for around ten years.
We found an acoustic rendition of Angie Stone's "I Wish I Didn't Miss
You" on her YouTube channel, filmed on the Thai island of Koh
Phangan in Aug 2019 (video below).
She states in her bio that "I don’t ever want to be tied down to 1 genre, I just want to make good music that people can relate to".
