Ida Divine (LaQuana Thompson) is an independent artist from Staten Island
(NYC) who made a big noise in neo soul circles in 2021 with her single
"In§omnia".
She has released singles on the 23rd of Apr, May and now Jun, all of
which have 'Edition .23' on the cover art, so whether it's an EP/album
building (i.e. Edition 2023) or just because she's releasing them in the 23rd day of the
month we don't know.
Her latest single "Maad Serious" has an island vibe. She last featured here with her Feb '23 single "Wonderful". We've noticed that a music video for it was published in Apr which
wasn't available when the song was released/posted so, in the absence of
a video for the latest single, have included it below. It's actually
much better than we remember it.
