Having released a cover of Valerie Simpson's "(Trying To Be) Perfect" as a single in Apr '22, (Simpson wrote and recorded it on her 2012
album "Dinosaurs Are Coming Back Again") it became the title track of Candace Woodson's chart topping album "Perfect" in Aug '22.
Nigel Lowis has applied his Philly disco magic to the ballad which has been released as her latest single. A lush, string laden orchestral
arrangement completely transforms the song, which some may have
considered a MOR'ish ballad, into a diva driven dance anthem harking
back to those Philly days. Candace's vocals are outstanding.
