West Londoner Tayah (Julien) first featured on the blog exactly a year ago on 29 Apr '22 with
her, then current, single "Momentary High". She is an avid admirer of 70's and 80's Soul as well as Lovers Rock,
Reggae and Rare Groove and we said last year that she sounded like our
kind of artist.
Since then she has released just one single "Hotel Suite 31" on 10 Mar this year, which is included, along with "Momentary High", on her sophomore album "Still Wonders" released today (28 Apr '23).
It's a pretty consistent album with the single "Momentary High" and "No Way, Nuh Bligh", which has a bit of a lovers rock feel,
being our picks of the pack.
