A debut album Alaina Renae Williams from Indianapolis
titled "The Introduction" was released two weeks ago on (14 Apr '23). It's a bit of a mixed bag in terms of styles veering from power ballads,
gospel, R&B and dance tracks but two tracks stood out "Ooh Wee" and "Number 2". The latter, along with another album track "Show Stopper", was released in 2016 on a six track EP "The Movement" credited to Band Geek Music Group.
She also tackles a couple of covers, Rose Royce's "Wishing On A Star" and
Sade's "Sweetest Taboo" and does a good job on them both with a different takes rather that
    straight covers.
The more I listen to this album the better it gets so please don't dismiss
it on first hearing as it possibly needs a few listens.
Her only other release is a single "Friends" from 2019.
