We've raved about Izo FitzRoy in the past, so surely this time around more will take note of her music with her latest single
"Give Me the High" which has got to be one of her very best yet.
The song has a retro 60s styling that the rare/Northern Soul crowd ought to really take notice of. Izo co-wrote it with Oscar de Jong (who some may know from Dutch trio Kraak & Smaak) and is from a forthcoming album "A Good Woman" due on 28 Apr '23.
It follows the lead single "God Gets A Little Busy Sometime" which won't surprise you to know that she has a Gospel (and blues) background having been a member of London's Soul Sanctuary Choir from the age of 19.
