the della kit (her capitalisation) (aka Erica Dee Landsberg) is from Vancouver,
Canada. She started singing aged 16 and was involved in the hip-hop scene
from 2010. As Erica Dee she released an album "New Skies" in 2016. The artists that she cites that have inspired her are Ella
Fitzgerald, Joni Mitchell and India.Arie.
She made her debut as the della kit in Feb 2022 with a single "clarity" and also featured here with the follow up "baby blue" in April.
Today (8 Jul 2022) she released her debut album "moonbeams & frequencies" which features all three of her singles amongst the ten tracks. The
third single, not posted, was "just a call away" featuring
Lafa Taylor & Mr. Carmack released in May.
It's a pretty solid album with the only track I'm not really feeling
being the last single, which is why it wasn't posted at the time.
If pressed on a standout, singles aside, I think on first listen I'd
plump for "10.5" (live video for it below). However, it would appear that she has gone
with "looking in" as the next single as a new video for it has premiered today on
YouTube.
