I've come across several tracks recently by this outfit going under the name Poppy
Sound which I assume is just a name used by a set of producers. It's their
eleventh release so far this year using this moniker. I'm pretty sure they must be related to The MILF, Funk Yourself and Block Street Sound tracks posted recently. These guys seem to be quite prolific at present, whoever they are, as very little information is given, even in the writing credits they are always just credited to the group name?
This is one of the better ones titled "The Wait" released today (14 Oct
2021). It's got a real Philly / MFSB / Salsoul feel about it with strong hints of Latin. I'm not sure whether
it's a cover of something using a different title but I'm certainly not
familiar with it (although it sounds familiar if that makes sense), anyone know anything different then please leave a
comment.
I really like this, I'm not normally one for instrumentals but this is a vibe!
