How do I describe this? Basically it's a mashup of beats and
samples. The most familiar being "Baby, It's Over" which samples "Don't Tell Me Tell Her" done by both Phyllis Hyman (1979) and Odyssey (1980).
"Just Like This, Pt 1" uses Keith Barrow's "You Know You Want To Be Loved"
from 1978.
I don't know what's sampled on Friends Zone but consensus seems to be
Spaceship Earth "Be Your Own Best Friend" from 1985?
I recognise one of the samples in the last track "Never Let You Go" but
can't put a name to it ... anyone?
