A new six track EP "Phoenix" from a new artist Nava Adé was released
yesterday (9 Jul 2021). She has released four singles since last year
(2020), all appearing on the EP along with two new tracks "To Proud To
Beg" and "The Feeling".
Nava Adé (who uses the name Nava Johns on her social media whose real
name I believe is Carina Nava Johnson) is from South London and states
that she is half Ugandan and half Nigerian.
She also runs a travel blog on YouTube and has been featured on several
sites e.g. cigarfashionlifestyle
and bellanaijastyle
Whilst researching her I also discovered that Nava Adé is a Tewa
Indian phrase meaning “belonging to the land". whether or not she picked
up the name on her travels or not I don't know.
