Hot on the heels of their recent album/EP release
"100 Yard Dash", only released on 4 Jun, DeRobert & The Half-Truths along with
Golden Rules released a new single on 11 Jun 2021, which doesn't feature
on the album.
It's retro 60s soul which highlights DeRobert Adams' soulful vocals which verge on gospel on this track. Not
really Northern Soul, in the traditional sense, but then the boundary of
what is, and what isn't, is somewhat blurred nowadays, but I can see this
getting spins on the scene.
I'm not quite sure why Golden Rules gets a credit as it's a label/platform, but that's how it's billed.
