Up and coming UK retro soul singer, MT Jones, from Liverpool releases his
seventh single and second this year, "All I Do", which follows "Made Up Your
Mind" from January.
A pair of singles from last year ("I'd Be Lying" which we posted from promo suggesting that it reminded us of Robert
Parker's "Caught You In A Lie") and "In My Arms") were licensed by Cliff Steele's Creative Soul for the label's fifth
vinyl single, which sold out.
Whether they already knew each other, both being from Liverpool, we don't
know for sure, but Jones has been supporting Jalen Ngonda on his current European tour. We found a video clip from Ngonda's Paris show on 24 Mar duetting with
Jones on the Aaron Neville classic "Tell It Like It Is". The channel has a few more videos from the show with individual performances by Ngonda and Jones.
Jones has also been supporting Mamas Gun and, as suggested on the sleeve, the new single is from his forthcoming debut EP due in September.
