Now here's a name we weren't familiar with until she cropped up on Pip
Millet's "Eating Out" single recently and included on her four track EP
"Tell Jimmy" released on 15 Feb. However, we have subsequently realised that she
also featured on CARRTOONS "Grace" single last year and also featured on "Lights" on CARRTOONS "Homegrown" album in 2022.
It's Rae Khalil (aka Ill Tha Don) who has her own single out called "IS IT WORTH IT". She's from Torrance, CA, and was a contestant on the Netflix music competition "Rhythm + Flow" in
2019.
We note that the music video for the new single was directed by Anderson
.Paak (who also plays drums on the recording) as she has just signed to
his APE SHIT label, a part of Def Jam, and this is her debut for the
label.
