in Dec '22 for what would have been his 88th birthday, Paul died in Apr 2016
aged 81.
He rose to fame with his all time classic "Me & Mrs Jones" which was a worldwide hit in 1972 topping both Billboard's R&B chart
and Hot 100. It was his best selling record and only #1 hit and only one further single, "Thanks For Saving My Life", would break into the R&B Top 10 and Hot 100 Top 40 in 1973.
Paul began his recording career aged 18 in 1952 and released eleven studio albums and two live albums during his career between 1968 and 1988.
