Leeds based band Gotts Street Park (named after an
area in Leeds) last featured here in May with the second single, "Got To Be Good" feat Pip Millet, from a, then, forthcoming third album "On The Inside". Since then they released a further three tracks from the album which is
out today.
With five single being already released from it ("Tell Me Why" (10 Oct), "Mountains" (24 Aug), "Fuego" (25 Jul), "Got To Be Good" (20 May) and "Summer Breeze" (11 Oct '22)) there are seven new songs to digest.
It's a strong set that should have an across the board appeal for
futurists and traditionalists listeners alike. There's vocal and cinematic
style instrumental tracks making it a tricky one to try and pigeon-hole.
Is it soul, is it pop, is it jazz, is it rock? It's a blend of all of
them.
Pip Millet guests again on one of the strongest new songs "Fool For Love" with our other pick from the new material being "Are You Still A Friend?" feat. Flikka from Stockholm who also featured on
their 2020 single "Favourite Kind Of Girl".
