The latest single from London's Bakar (Abubakar Shariff-Farr) is from his
new album "Halo" which is a new version of "Hell N Back" featuring Summer
Walker. The remaining material is not really appropriate to post here as a
it is predominantly pop oriented.
The song "Hell N Back" was first released in Aug 2019 along with a sped up version. In May '23 a live version was released.. The sound may be familiar to some as it
is based on Robert Parker's crossover classic "I Caught You In A Lie" written by Lee Diamond, who is actually credited on the new song.
A music video for the original 2019 version is included below and, in case
you are not familiar with it, the Robert Parker song it is also included.
A couple of reggae version of the song have subsequently been recorded by Louisa Marks and UB40 which we featured last year.
