We couldn't tell you anything about Nadia as this appears to be a one-off
debut release, but of course the song, "Lovely Day", belongs to Bill Withers co-written with Skip Scarborough.
It was was his biggest UK hit reaching #7 in Jan 1978 and peaking even
higher at #4 in Sep 1987 with the Sunshine Mix. Other versions of the
song also charted in 1987 and 2020.
We'll leave you to decide in whether Nadia's new, slowed down lounge, interpretation does it justice. Her voice has a hint of an accent,
whether that's from the islands or not we don't know but there are tinges
of reggae, but think perhaps not, more European.
