The lead single from Joy Denalane's forthcoming twelve track album "Willpower" (due on 6 Oct) is "Hideaway" released today.
Denalane, dubbed as Germany's 'Queen of Soul', is the niece of
South African trumpeter Hugh Masekela and one of a select few European
artists to have been signed to Motown.
She hasn't featured here since July '21 with a single "Forever" from a deluxe edition of her 2020 album "Let Yourself Be Loved" released in Sep '21.
