Joy Denalane (dubbed as Germany's 'Queen of Soul' who
is the niece of South African trumpeter Hugh Masekela) has featured a couple of times already this
year on this blog (with a cover of Bill Wither's "Use Me" and her last single "Show Me" in Jun) has released a new single today (16 Jul 2021) titled "Forever".
It starts off quite pedestrian, sounding almost folky, but picks up after around 50 seconds.
Denalane is on of a select few European artist ever signed to Motown.
