We were first introduced to Dr. Tygressa Jones when she sent us her
debut single "Hey You (A Minute With You)" in Jun '21. It went on to top the UK Soul Chart for several weeks and
then she promptly followed it two weeks later with a four track EP "A Minute With You".
Tygressa is from Fort Washington, MD, and regularly performs
tribute shows "Tygressa Sings Natalie…Remembering Natalie Cole, a
tribute".
She has gone on to release four more singles including her rendition of
"White Christmas" last Christmas and a cover of Sylvia's "Pillow Talk" in April this year (along with a retro video for it) to celebrate it's
50th anniversary.
Her latest single "This Is How We Do!" is out on Friday (30 Jun).
