Chicago's Carla Prather may generally be regarded as a house diva but her repertoire is much more diverse than that. Her last single "Back In The Day" (2 Jun) showed that and is included as the lead track on a new album "The Return Of R&B".
The album has been produced by Steve Maskall (aka Steve 'Miggedy' Maestro / Mortimer Snerd III) and is currently only available either via Steve 'Miggedy' Maestro's Bandcamp store Miggedty Entertainment. (for the princely price of $20) or from Traxsource (for only $9.99).
Traxsource gives a release date of 7 Jul so perhaps it will be available on other digital platforms then.
As well as the lead single, our choice cuts are "Walk Of Shame", "In Comes Change", "Spice Of Life" but the whole album is recommended. The album closes with a house version of Candi Staton's "Young Hearts Run Free".
