B & The Family follow up collaborations with Howard
Johnson on "Just Dance" and with Re-Surface and "Jam" with another one
with Antonio McLendon.
B & The Family are producer/guitarist Brian Morgan from Englewood,
NJ, and family members Katie Goulet, Taylor, Genevieve and Willa. Brian
and Katie's music has featured in Disney movie "Godmothered" as well as
on TV series and movie soundtracks (e.g. Rocky IV). Brian goes back to then 80s and has had his songs recorded by Melba Moore, Kashif, Gwen Guthrie, Johnny Kemp,
Meli'sa Morgan and Jennifer Holliday amongst others.
Philadelphia native Antonio McLendon has enjoyed
recent success as a featured artist on Output/Input's single "I'm In Love" in 2021 and his solo release "How I Feel" in 2022. His daughter Samara Joy McLendon has
just picked up two Grammy jazz awards in 2023 for Best New Artist and
Best Jazz Vocal Album for "Linger Awhile".
The new single "Forever" is out on 28 Feb 2023 with McLendon's voice sounding as smooth as
silk with a distinct reminder of the tones of the great Luther Vandross.
