Object Heavy is a five-piece band from Arcata, CA, consisting of Richard Love (vocals), Brian Swislow (keys), Leo Plummer (guitar), Ian Taylor (bass), and
Sam Kaplan-Good (drums).
They made some noise with their last single "For The Better" in Nov '22 at which time they announced a forthcoming debut album
"Love & Gravity". The album was released yesterday (27 Jan) and is produced
by Kelly Finnegan (Monophonics).
The previous single was their fourth single of last year and their only other release (currently listed) was from 2019
which is a Jam In The Van live EP. The other singles were "Feel
Right", "Alone" and "Righteous Walk", all included on the
album.
I'm sorry to say that nothing new on the album outstrips the single
"For The Better", with perhaps "Reflection" coming the closest.
