One of the unenviable year-end tasks is paying tribute to the soul related artists we have lost in 2022 along with a host of other famous names.
The list, sadly, includes several giants of soul music including, most
recently, Thom Bell, but also Jim Stewart the founder of Stax, Ramsey
Lewis, Lamont Dozier and one of the legendary names in Northern Soul, J.J.
Barnes.
