It's that time of the year to do a round up of the best tracks of the year. Rather than bombard you with 100 tracks all in one chunk, they have been split over months highlighting the best ten songs from each month and two months will be posted each day over the next six days between Christmas and New Year.
They are also split between neo soul and more traditional soul with this post featuring Neo Soul selections for Jan 2022.
Some tracks may strictly fall outside the month either side as the criteria is when they were posted and featured in the Weekly Dirty Dozen as essentially it's a summary of the best tracks from each month's weekly Dirty Dozen selections.
Also when it comes to selecting the Top 100 there may be some not featured in the monthly Top 10s as some months were better than others.
