Lucky Daye (aka David Debrandon Brown) is from New Orleans and reached the top 20 in the fourth season of America's Got Talent in 2005 aged 19.
He released his debut EP titled "/" in 2018 and followed it with "//" in early 2019 and has won a Grammy for Best Progressive R&B Album in 2022 for his last album "Table for Two" released in Feb 2021.
His latest album, "Candydrip" released in Mar 2022, has been reissued as a Deluxe edition on 9 Dec '22 with an additional four tracks, the best of those being "Magic".
His only other appearance on the blog, as his sound is generally more R&B, was with a cover of Marvin's "Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology)" which was a Spotify exclusive in May 2021.
