Ria Barkr grew up in Bristol, VA, and now based in Music City Nashville, TN. At 14 she auditioned for America's Got Talent and made to the recorded shows.
In 2018 two London producers discovered her covers on Instagram and sent her some beats to write lyrics to. They met up in 2020 and recorded twenty songs, seven of which will feature on her debut album "alpha-she" later this year.
To date, since her debut in March 2022, she has released four singles, the latest, "monday", yesterday (2 Sep 2022).
