Fun Lovin' Criminals were formed in 1993 in NYC by Huey
'DiFontaine' Morgan and Brian 'Fast' Leiser. After their 1996 debut
album "Come Find Yourself" spent an incredible two years on the UK Pop
chart they relocated to the UK. They have achieved eight UK Top 40
hits.
Morgan left the group in Dec 2021 and the line-up is now Brian Fast
Leiser (keys, bass, horns, harp, melodica, programming, vocals), Mark
Francis Reid aka Frank Benbini (drums, percussion, vocals) and Naim
Cortazzi (guitar, vocals)
On 3 Sep 2022, a new song called "Shake It Loose" was given a debut play on Dean Jackson's show The Beat, the song
comes from their "Roosevelt Sessions" EP, which was released digitally today (9 Sep 2022). The opening track "Unfinished Business" is a groove!
The band are currently on tour in the UK in September, with gigs in St
Albans, Oxford, Leicester, London, Sheffield, Liverpool and Birmingham.
They also have an upcoming tour of Europe, including dates in Greece,
the Netherlands and Belgium before a tour of the US in November.
