The name Jeremy Turgeon may be familiar to vinyl record
buyers as Izipho Soul released a 7" by him in 2020 which included the
gospel/jazz song "Blessed" featuring Cleveland P. Jones taken from a 2017 album "What Matters Most". The B side was Jones
on "Mistakes". Note that copies are still available via Bandcamp.
He was billed as The Jeremy Turgeon Quintet on that release and has
released a solo single "Just Feels Right" yesterday (12 Aug 2022) featuring Nichelle J. Mungo & Gabe
Childs which sits in the jazz/funk mould.
Jeremy Turgeon is a 28 year old trumpeter/vocalist born in Springfield, MA,
now living in North Carolina. He leads the horn section for gospel/jazz
artist Doobie Powell.
