Manchester's Akemi Fox released a five track EP "You're My Favourite Day" on Thursday (11 Aug 2022), it is her second to date. She topped the
Global Soul chart earlier this year with "See You Soon" and followed it up with "I Want It" last month which hasn't fared as well. They are both included on her new EP.
A video has been released today for the opening track "So Fine" (which is the best track on the EP) so I would guess that it will be the
next single and, if the success of "See You Soon" is anything to by, along
with the fact that it's from an EP, then expect to see this topping Global
Soul chart in the coming weeks!
Akemi describes her music as alternative R&B and I think this one is
more for the urban/R&B crowd. The EP is currently priced at only £2.09
for five tracks.
