Michon Young was born in Gary, IN, but now regards Detroit, MI, as her second
hometown. She was discovered by Marvin Winans which led to her
performing background vocals on his debut solo album "Alone But Not
Alone" in 2007.
She released her debut album "Possessing The Promise" in 2011 and her debut single "Something About You" followed in Sep 2016 which was very well received.
Her latest album "Love Life Experience Volume 3 Conversation Piece" (which follows Vol.1 in (Apr 2017) and Vol. 2 (Jun 2018) is released today (27 May 2022).
The album contains eighteen tracks (although four are interludes) and includes the two previous singles "Happy" (30 Apr 2021) which topped the Global Soul Chart on 22 May 2021, "You're That One" from Oct 2021 and the lead single from the album "Cause I Love You".
