Simon Marlin's Shapeshifters hook up with UK princess of
blue-eyed soul Joscelyn Eve Stoker, better known as
Joss Stone, for their latest single "Bring On The Rain".
Needless to say it's a housey style 122 BPM dance track which comes as a 7"
version at just over the 3 minute mark and an almost 9 minute extended
mix.
Unbelievably, Joss Stone is just over a week shy of her 35th birthday but
has been on the scene for almost 20 years emerging in 2003.
Coincidentally The Shapeshifters smashed onto the scene the same
year with their 'mash up' of Johnny Taylor's modern soul gem "What About
My Love" and Anthony White's "Love Me Tonight" titled "Lola's Theme".
A new album from The Shapeshifters is due on Glitterbox in the Autumn.
