Ego Ella May last featured here in Oct 2021 with her four track EP "FIELDNOTES" which I had down as a Tru Thoughts release. Her latest single "Introvert Hotline" (released today 22 Feb 2022) appears to be self released, so perhaps she has now parted ways with Tru Thoughts?
It's the usual jazzy neo soul sound we have learned to expect from the south Londoner who won a Mobo Award for Best Jazz Act in 2020. I noted from writer's credits that the name she uses is Ego Ella Uche.
