This album "It's Time" from Clyde Anthony is a bit of a mystery as I found his
Soundcloud channel and nine of the songs were posted there seven years
ago, so obviously not all new material. Not that that matters in the
slightest as good music is good music regardless of how old it is.
The two 'new' tracks are the first two "Don't Wanna Talk About It" and
"Happy People".
I can find no other material from him so assume that he has finally got
around to releasing a debut album.
I would describe this as southern 'modern' soul with some nice deep and
soulful songs and he gives Barry White a good run for his money with his
deep gravelly voice.
I think on first listen my favourite track would have to be
"When Can I See You Again", along with "Happy People" being a nice ballad/stepper and "Can't Get You Off My Mind" , "You Don't Have To Take That" and "Faithful, Honest And True" being the better of the deep tunes.
