"Got to Be Yours" is a new single from Wyann Vaughn featuring The Emotions
which may surprise you until you learn that she is the daughter on Wanda
(Hutchinson) Vaughn
(The Emotions) and
Wayne Vaughn
who was a member of Brothers Johnson and EWF and has written many songs
recorded by others including probably the best know "Let's Groove" by
EWF. Wyann is also now the third member of The Emotions with her mother Wand and
aunt Sheila, sadly their sister, Pam, died last Sep (2020).
I was initially just going to post the single but noticed that there is
also a full album.
It's a pretty decent album with the standout
tracks being "You Got Me", "For Your Love" and the lead single "Got To Be Yours".
