in 1996 and has been reissued digitally today with a set of remixes.
The release also includes three versions of "The Message From A Soul Sister", a James Brown written song that she originally recorded under her real
name Myrna Barnes in 1970 on King.
Anderson was married to Bobby Byrd who are the parents of Carleen Anderson
(The Brand New Heavies). She died last July aged 83 and a
tribute
was posted.
