We lost one of the greatest gospel voices in the world just last October (tribute here) but his music will always be with us. I'm not quite sure
of the provenance of this posthumously released tune (10 Sep 2021) from The Rance Allen Group "Love Makes The World Go Around". I don't believe that it has been previously released but will
concede if you know otherwise. It certainly sounds like it was recorded in his later years.
It's superb, ultra deep, gospel soul delivered as only he can. If this song doesn't move you then I think you may need to check your pulse, or you're just on the wrong site! Dance music of black orientation is all well and good but THIS is 'real' soul music which I think is good to be reminded of occasionally to prevent the proliferation of tunes that are 'vaguely' soulful or soul like. I think I may start using a new term 'soul-lite'!
