A few weeks ago I posted a pre-released track from this album "Sha-La-La (Make Me Happy)". The full album, titled "Give Me More Love", gets a release today (24 Sap 2021) and gives a new lease of life to
Al Green's classic songs with them all being re-recorded as 'orchestral'
versions.
The dozen tracks selected should need no introduction but they all now have
a lusher sound with new full orchestral arrangements overlaying the original
vocals.
I think "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" in particular benefits from the new arrangement.
