Yasmina is new 18 year old artist from Queens, NY. Her
latest single "Don't Deserve This" (released 20 Aug 2021) has a cover which features artwork inspired by
(and acknowledged to) Willie Hutch's 1974 album "Foxy Brown" which depicts Pam Grier who starred in the role for the movie.
The single is difficult to pigeon hole as it has a phat retro 80s
bassline (think along the lines of "Another One Bites The Dust" / "Oops
Upside Your Head") but contemporary vocals.
She debuted in 2018 with a single "Truth Be Known" and released two
singles (mini EPs) in 2020. This is her first release this year and her
fourth to date.
As is often the case, her discography has been merged on some DSPs with
other artists with the same name!
