The Gabriels are starting to 'milk' "Love and Hate in a Different Time" as only a few weeks ago there was a
Terry Chandler remix
and now (6 Aug 2021) an alternate version which essentially removes the
heavy bass line (which is what made the Northern crowd's ears prick up)
converting it into a more jazz/gospel/soul tune. The tinkling piano
reminds me of Billy Taylor's "I Wish I Knew", but perhaps I'm influenced by Acantha Lang releasing it yesterday on
her new five track EP "Sugar Woman"?
