Released today (25 Aug 2021) by twin sisters Hope and Millie Katana from
Manchester (born in Kenya) who go by the name of The KTNA (presumably pronounce like their surname?)
There is no video available for the new single "Summer Never Dies" yet so I've added a 30 minute live performance from last year where they perform songs from their debut EP "Life Under Siege".
They released three singles in 2019, followed by the EP and collaboration with sagan in 2020 and the current single is their second this year.
I guess this will ruffle feathers! Is this soul music? I'll let you decide, but for me it's a sound that borders/overlaps indie pop music like so many of this ilk, it's becoming a very fine line!
