Now .. this is what I'm talking about! Probably not everyone's cup of
tea, but I adore this, pure class, deep and soulful, with a hint of jazz
and blues and sadly will 'possibly' sink without trace as it's not really
'commercial' but I would love to be proved wrong! A connoisseur's
classic for sure in my book!
Josh Berkeley is originally from Grenada, now living in the
big apple. He debuted in 2015 with a single "Don't Wanna Go (Exclusively
Yours)" but his next single didn't appear until 2019. He has also released
a seven track album/EP "Sunday Morning" in 2020 which is similar material, and is excellent, so I will post it
separately even though it's over a year old (29 Feb 2020).
He released his seventh single (and third this year) "Just As Friends" today (14
Aug 2021) which, for me, is the best release of the week.
I've subsequently listened to all his available material and have to ask how has he not got a far higher profile?
