Following the release of GarciaWalker&Durrell's previously unreleased album "Praying For Rain", due out today (30 Jul 2021), Soul Intention will release their
first ever 12" next Friday (6 Aug 2021).
What better track to put on it than GarciaWalker&Durrell's
cover of Beloyd's 1977 modern soul gem
"Get Into Your Life". But wait ... it gets even better as it's not the 7" version released
in March, nor the 4:14 album version on "Praying For Rain", it consists of
three mixes.: a 5:22 extended version plus Tom Moulton Remixes in two sizes,
the full mix (8:34) and a Radio Edit (4:07).
I posted a 6:47 Tom Moulton mix in March when I posted the Soul-Intention
7" release as it was posted on YT by DJ Juan (Jay) Negron, so I don't
know where he got it from?
Oh man ... is the Tom Moulton extended mix good or what? An absolute "must
buy" for any serious soul connoisseur! It will be available in limited
quantity and it's highly likely that the album will sell like hot
cakes and this 12" will shift even quicker, so pre-order (link on label images) to bag one and avoid
disappointment or risk paying a ransom on Discogs for one later if you miss out!
