dvsn (pronounced division) are Toronto duo Nineteen85 (producer) and
Daniel Daley (vocals) founded in 2015. They've released three albums and
over a dozen singles.
Their latest release samples an underground lowrider sweet soul classic The Continental 4's "(You're Living In A) Dream World" released as a single on Jay Walking
in 1973 and also featured on their only album "Dream World" in 1972, written by Allan Felder and Norman Harris and produced by Bobby Martin .
It's very similar to the sort of sound being released at the time by the
likes of The Chi-lites and The Stylistics who were having big chart hits
with them.
The video has already had just over 115k views since release on 1 Jul 2021!
