Maria Sanchez (aka Groovy MS) is from Riverside, CA and released a new
single on a new Swedish (Stockholm) label Soul Tune on 7 May 2021. Soul
Tune is run by Niclas Wretelid who is also a member of the Soul Tune
Allstars.
It's a bit odd, as it's not advertised on Soul Tune's website
or their BandCamp
store but is available via Amazon/Apple digitally. The vinyl 45 is available
from Maria's
website ($15).
I'm not sure when it was officially released, as Maria Sanchez posted
videos of both tracks on her YT channel on 4 Apr 2021, but digital outlets
are stating 7 May.
'Dynamite' is a good, bouncy, sax laden, modern soul/crossover tune with an
old school vibe with a similar feel to
Carmy Love's recent release, I wonder if it will do as well? The flip 'Sensation' is
a bit more laid back, and lies more in the funky crossover camp. Two
good sides.
